Daniel Finch has been designated as the head executive of The Star Entertainment’s casino located in Brisbane. His tenure is set to commence in the middle of February 2024, contingent upon obtaining the necessary regulatory clearances.

Mr. Finch contributes a wealth of expertise to The Star, having dedicated over twenty years to the tourism and hospitality sector. He embarked on his professional journey in London before relocating to Australia, where he assumed high-ranking positions at both the Sofitel Brisbane and Constellation Hotels. In his most recent role, he held the position of Managing Director for Expedia Australia for close to a decade.

The appointment of Mr. Finch coincides with The Star’s preparations to unveil its latest establishments in Brisbane. Robbie Cooke, the Group CEO, emphasized Mr. Finch’s background in launching new hotels as a valuable resource for the organization. Mr. Cooke also mentioned that The Star is actively seeking a CEO for its Sydney establishment.
