A prominent online gaming platform, 12Bet, has secured a sponsorship agreement with West Bromwich Albion Football Club, strengthening its position in the sports realm. The gaming firm’s emblem will be prominently featured on the arms of all team jerseys for the duration of the 2017/18 season.
Founded in 2007, 12Bet is no stranger to notable collaborations, having previously partnered with Premier League giants Arsenal and Leicester City. Although the financial details of this specific agreement remain confidential, it’s reasonable to assume that both sides anticipate a mutually advantageous association.
Simon King, West Bromwich Albion’s Chief Commercial Officer, conveyed his excitement about the partnership, remarking, “12Bet is a respected brand with a solid history in the Premier League. As we aim to expand our reach in the Asian market, this collaboration seemed like a logical choice.”
West Bromwich Albion, a club with a rich history spanning 139 years, has been a fixture in English football’s top division since 2009. With a devoted fan base and substantial media visibility due to the Premier League’s lucrative television contracts, the club provides 12Bet with a valuable avenue to engage a broader audience.
Rory Anderson, a representative for 12Bet, shared King’s sentiments, adding, “We are delighted to be the inaugural betting firm to collaborate with a Premier League club as both the sleeve and training apparel partner. West Bromwich Albion’s consistent standing in the Premier League makes them an ideal counterpart for 12Bet, a company with a longstanding reputation as a recognized Premier League brand.”
