Emerald Jade Games has finalized a binding agreement with GameCo to combine into a new organization: Emerald Jade Group.
The amalgamation of Emerald Jade and GameCo will form a new gaming behemoth that aims to be the dominant force in what it calls “distinctive gaming.” Both developers are dedicated to crafting casino-style games that emphasize interactivity.
Emerald Jade Group asserts that the unified entity will rule the distinctive gaming category and provide the most extensive content collection, concentrating on elevated LTV and fresh players, encompassing slots, table games, crash games, and arcade games. The merger will also empower the company to rapidly expand to satisfy the rising demand for its content in the global gaming market, especially in North America and Europe.
Jesper Kärrbrink, currently the head of Emerald Jade, will assume the role of CEO of the newly combined entity. GameCo chairman Robert Montgomery will serve as its president.
Kärrbrink stated, “We have been observing GameCo for an extended period and are highly impressed by the company’s accomplishments to date. I am confident that together we will generate unstoppable momentum and exciting prospects lie ahead.”
Montgomery added that both businesses share similar perspectives on the type of games they develop.

Earlier this year, Green Jade appointed Mathias Lindal as their new Director of Development.
