The agreement between the betting company and the Brazilian soccer club is effective right now. Betano’s logo will be seen on Fluminense’s jerseys, starting with the Brazilian Cup final.
This is Betano’s second sponsorship deal with a Brazilian soccer team in 2023. Earlier this year, the company signed a similar agreement with another Brazilian Serie A team, Atlético Mineiro.
Fluminense’s president, Mario Bittencourt, stated that the club has always believed that appreciation for the team would lead to the arrival of a partner who understands the club’s greatness. He added that Betano brings this understanding.
The sponsorship deal is a significant step in the club’s financial recovery after the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Bittencourt believes that the club is on the right track, seeking to expand its brand. He stated that the club will have a sponsor who understands this project.
