Game Innovation Group (GiG) has inked a deal with Grupo Slots, an Argentinian gaming and entertainment company, to provide a comprehensive online gambling solution for their launch in Buenos Aires.
This all-encompassing package will encompass technology, an online gambling platform, sports betting, and front-end development, along with GiG’s data platform and GiG Logic operating system.
The agreement is set to span at least four years, with an automatic renewal for an additional year, based on a revenue-sharing model and initial setup fees. GiG anticipates finalizing the deal by the conclusion of the third quarter.
Grupo Slots, headquartered in San Luis, operates casinos, betting venues, and bingo halls across more than 20 physical locations in Argentina. The group also maintains an online gambling presence through its Jugadon.com website.

Argentina is taking a step-by-step approach to regulating online gambling, province by province. Earlier this year, the City of Buenos Aires gave the green light to regulations for online gambling licenses, aiming for a launch in the final quarter of 2020.
According to GiG, Grupo Slots is anticipated to secure its license from the City of Buenos Aires before the close of the fourth quarter. GiG will then roll out its online gambling solution in partnership with the operator.
