Adelaides SkyCity, a prominent gaming establishment, has declared a fresh rule mandating all guests and workers to be inoculated against COVID-19. Commencing on February 10th, every individual entering the casino, lodging, pubs, and eateries will be required to present evidence of vaccination or a medical waiver. This new regulation supplements the existing face covering requirement, social distancing recommendations, and QR code check-ins already implemented.
The casino’s Chief Operating Officer, David Christian, declared that this choice was made to guarantee the well-being of all individuals. He highlighted that as one of Adelaides largest entertainment destinations and a substantial employer, they have a duty to safeguard their patrons and personnel.
Although we’ve put in place thorough health and safety protocols to minimize the chance of COVID-19 exposure, public health data and studies demonstrate that COVID-19 vaccinations offer the most effective defense for our staff and patrons.
SkyCity has faced substantial challenges due to the pandemic, and we’ve been urging our employees to get vaccinated as soon as feasible. We value the understanding of our esteemed employees and customers.
SkyCity Adelaide has implemented a comprehensive vaccination mandate for all personnel, patrons, hotel guests, contractors, and visitors, with the goal of safeguarding visitors from COVID-19 and reducing the risk of transmission on the premises.
SkyCity Adelaide Casino features 90 gaming tables and 950 gaming machines.
Last year, SkyCity CEO Michael Aherne declared that COVID-19 vaccination certificates would be required at all SkyCity locations in New Zealand.
